Over the last couple of months a friend of mine has convinced me that we should think about doing the comic thing as a possible means of income. I haven't had much experience drawing my own comics so this is relatively new to me. I enjoy trying to put the images together in a way that gets the story to flow.
I do the art and my buddy, Tyler, does most of the writing. Im not so strong in the storyline area and he's not so good with the drawing so it all works out.
The comics here, for the time being, are all hand drawn in various sketch books and then scanned in.
PLEASE leave me some comments and tell me what you think. Seriously... I need the input. Do the comics read okay? Can you follow them? Like the art? Let me know!

The Stream is a running comic that I use as sort of a comic sketchbook. Actually, drawn in a sketchbook, I use the comic as a way of working out ideas and page layouts. Its good for me as I'm new to drawing comics.
There is one constant character who I create the storyline around. Every time I sit down to work on it, I take the story wherever I feel it should go next (stream of consciousness) and then I number the session (which are the numbers you'll see written in the margins).

This is a little comic about a specific subculture that some may not care to read about. If you know what I mean by "carb" or "pooched" "kicked" or have ever been part of a "clambake" then you might find it interesting. If you don't like it... you don't have to read it. But for GODS SAKE... if you read it, let me know what you think about it... style, layout, plot... I wanna hear it. Ty and I are trying to better our craft.

Nah. We've just been doing this for a few months now. People keep asking us if its published or going to be. Answer is... I dunno. I would love to do it and make a living out of it though.

Same here.
Wouldn't that be nice. I've been self-publishing for more than Four years now. I think we may soon be ready to send one title to a major distributor, and we've got a couple of graphic novels in the works. Give it time and your work will pay off.
